Towards the end of the Award Process with GSA, you will go through Negotiations. GSA Discounts will be the main topic of this discussion. After all parties come to an agreement, your final pricing will typically be:

• Your Going Commercial Rate / Price
• with GSA discount applied
• then, the Industrial Funding Fee (IFF) added in

The IFF is a small fee (0.75%) added to your final price. You are to charge this slightly increased rate to GSA customers. Then when you report sales to GSA you will make a payment for 0.75% of your GSA sales. So, you are not paying the IFF. It is added to your price, and you hold onto the extra $ amount until you report and make the IFF payment to GSA.
