The first place to be if you are a contractor trying to get local business is Washington D.C., or in a surrounding area. There are so many federal buildings, and employees in this region, that your business will definitely gain from being local.

The second place to be if you have a GSA Contract is Colorado Springs, with a large military presence. There is an Army Base, Air Force Academy, NORAD, and much more. With all of these military applications, your GSA Contract will be put to good use.

The final area that lends itself to companies with a GSA Contract is San Diego. There is Camp Pendleton to the north, the largest Marine Base in the country. There are also two good-sized military bases in Miramar and Coronado, as well as SPAWAR.
